E-Learning The next exciting project that ARDS wants to develop is a complete online school. Our members are asking us to use our successful adult educational methodology to give them access to reading and writing skills. This is necessary as contemporary education is either not available or does not work for Yolngu people. This online school will deliver material that will teach both adults and children how to read and write their own language and English at the same time. They will be able to access the material from their own homes and homeland centre villages. The online school will also teach maths, science and world history to the Yolngu people in their own language. Below are some examples of the material we will use. ARDS is keen to talk to organisations or individuals who would like to support us in the development and deployment of this private online school.
