Language Resources Available From ARDS The most recent addition to ARDS language resources is a website for interpreting Legal concepts into the Yolngu Matha language. Click the image below to check out this site. ARDS has many language learning resources available for the Gupapuyngu language, from the Yolngu Matha group of north-east Arnhem Land. We recommend you start with the Gupapuyngu Alphabet & Pronunciation course which will give you a good grounding in the sounds and makeup of the languages of north-east Arnhem Land. Should you feel you need to continue with set lessons rather than expand your language capacity in the field, then Gupapuyngu Conversational Course Sets 1 and 2 are available. All of the above come as booklets with accompanying audio cassettes. The Grammar Lessons in Gupapuyngu book is available for those who like to fully study a language. Also there is the Yolngu Matha-to-English Dictionary compiled by R. David Zorc. These are available from ARDS and also the Batchelor Institiute, Batchelor NT.
