    Supporting the Radio Service

The cost to establish the full service will probably be around $ 1.5 million. Despite many people thinking it is a good idea not a lot of funding has come our way. However ARDS has pressed ahead to establish the service as quickly as possible.

    • Currently we have received some funding (see list below) for a small part of the capital and operating expenses for the 'shoestring' service. However we are still seeking funding to allow us to get to the stage of putting additional FM transmitters in Arnhem Land.

If as an individual, organisation, or company, you would like to provide ARDS with the funds necessary to purchase equipment allowing the Yolngu people of Arnhem Land to hear a radio service delivered in their own language, then please EMAIL US with your details indicating how you can assist.

Alternatively you can contact our Winnellie office on 08 8984 4174 or email mediaservices@ards.com.au to discuss your involvement.

ALL GIFTS TO ARDS OVER $2 ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE. PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU REQUIRE A RECEIPT.

To allow the 'shoestring' service to be enhanced by the addition of AM transmitters in the major communities, capital and operational funds are still required. For greater detail on how your gift can be used to help us achieve this then either
