eLearn Training

Our eLearn program is an excellent introduction to Yolŋu culture and worldview.

It contains 10 modules, featuring interviews with Yolŋu leaders on a range of topics, interactive learning activities, and practical skills for engagement.

Our acclaimed eLearn training - which draws on 50 years’ of two-way engagement in north-east Arnhem Land - contains the following modules:

  2. Yolŋu World (Overview of Yolŋu values)

  3. Gurruṯu (Yolŋu kinship)

  4. Manikay (Song)

  5. Wäŋa (Land)

  6. Dhäwu (History)

  7. Dhäruk (Language)

  8. Engagement

  9. Miyalk ga Ḏirramu (Men and Women)

  10. Yolŋu Concerns

Each module can be completed in about 30 minutes, and revisited as many times as you like within 6 months.

Pricing

Access to the eLearn training is included in the cost of online and tailored workshops. They are also available for standalone purchase* - see prices below.

NTG employees are required to complete a workshop (which includes eLearn access) to satisfy Northern Territory Government training requirements for staff working with Yolŋu or on Yolŋu Country.)

Discounts are available for not-for-profit organisations and Aboriginal Corporations.
