Nhäma yalala Emma
Today we say nhäma yalala (see you later) to Emma Murphy 🥲.
Emma has been part of the ARDS family on and off for the last 15 years and her expertise as a linguist, educator and trainer have contributed so much to ARDS over that time. Emma has modelled bala-räli guŋgayunmirr (working together so everyone becomes stronger) in all she does, she will be sorely missed.
From all of us at ARDS, we wish you all the best with your next chapter Emma and thank you for your skill, care and dedication over the years.
Emma leaving means we have an an opening for a unique role at ARDS as a cultrual competency trainer. If you have a strong working knowledge of Yolŋu Matha and experience of working in North East Arnhem Land, this is an fantastic opportunity you don’t want to miss.
