The following Statement is a rare glimpse into the issue of Family Violence prevention from a remote Indigenous perspective. It clearly expresses the desire to address Family Violence and offers five very tangible actions to empower this desire. Most importantly however, it adamantly pushes for structural changes that would resource and genuinely empower community leadership figures through traditional governance systems.
